Hacktoberfest is finally here and the Manchester tech meetups are coming together to do it big!

are here to help you get started contributing to open source.

We know getting started in open source can be daunting and even with hacktoberfest it can be hard to stay motivated all on your own, so come down and join a whole mess of developers (All levels, all languages welcome!) for good vibes, some networking and dive into your first open source issue.

You'll have support from seasoned veterans across multiple languages with track records in open source development, be able to pick from a curated list of starter repos across multiple technologies and a chance to pair with like-minded engineers of varying levels!

So bring your laptop down and make 2025 the year you add "Open source contributor" to your CV!
